Jack Dorsey announced his new service Square yesterday. Square, allows merchants and individuals accept secure payment from credit (and other) cards using a mobile phone. A card reading dongle is attached to a mobile phone which is used to swipe the card, the customer then signs for their payment using the phone and a receipt is sent to their email address.
